Hundreds of children are forced to live on the streets of Lusaka where they are scared, abused, hungry & become addicted to drugs and sex. Formerly known as “My Father’s House”, The Children’s Transit Home is a safe place for children that have been rescued.

Hundreds of children are forced to live on the streets of Lusaka where they are scared, abused, hungry & become addicted to drugs and sex. Formerly known as “My Father’s House”, The Children’s Transit Home is a safe place for children that have been rescued.
Currently twelve girls between the ages of 8 to 18 years old and three babies who are 1 year olds live in the Transit Home where they receive supervision, counseling, education and the love of Jesus Christ.

Merry Christmas!
We’re a little late, but here are the children at The Transit Home wishing everyone a Merry Christmas!
January 2022
New Chicks!
Chicks and the needed apparatus were bought using a generous donation. They will provide eggs and chicken meat for the girls in the home.
Bunkbeds Were Purchased
3 girls were each sharing a room with only two beds. We received the funding needed to purchase bunkbeds for the Transit Home and now each girl has their own bed and we have beds for 4 more children.
The Babies at The Transit Home
The mothers of these two were rescued by The Children’s Transit Home. Currently there are two babies and nine girls living and being cared for at the home.

Birthday Party
A U.S. team visited The Children’s Transit Home in October 2021 and threw a birthday party and treated the girls like queens! It was their first ever birthday party.
